Autumn in northern Pakistan is breathtakingly beautiful — like a real-life Shangri-La. The Karakoram Highway winds through snow-capped peaks and dramatic landscapes. It is said that Hayao Miyazaki drew inspiration from the magnificent scenery of Hunza when creating "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind." Along the route, we cross the Khunjerab Pass, the world's highest paved international border crossing at approximately 4,800 meters, and enter southern Xinjiang — half culture, half nature. The ancient city of Kashgar, with over 2,000 years of history, is known as a "living fossil," while the Panlong Ancient Road with its 639 bends over 30 kilometers is legendary.

Pakistan
- Accommodation facilities in the northern region are basic and limited. There is no heating system in some areas and hot water is limited. The weather in October is dry and cold (0°C–16°C), especially during morning and night.
- Power supply is insufficient in the northern mountain areas, and some places only provide electricity at set times. It is advisable to bring a power bank, torchlight, or headlamp.
- We will travel by comfortable air-conditioned minibus throughout the journey. However, road conditions in Pakistan are not always good, and the journey can be long and bumpy, so please be mentally prepared.
- Bring lip balm, moisturizer, and sunscreen due to the very dry local climate.
Xinjiang, China
- On Days 9, 10, and 11, we will be at altitudes between 3,000 and 4,000 meters (especially the Khunjerab Pass at approximately 4,800 meters). You might experience some altitude sickness and feel dizzy or drowsy. If you have these symptoms, please move slowly, rest more, and drink plenty of water. Consult your doctor if you need to bring any medication.
- There may not be modern toilets along the way — some attractions only have pit toilets — and sanitary conditions may be poor.
