Day 2: Bucharest - Brasov (B) After breakfast, discover the rich and diverse history of Bucharest on a walking tour. We will explore the evolution of the city's architecture and uncover the stories behind some of its most significant landmarks. Drive to the beautiful mountain town of Sinaia. Visit Peles Castle, acclaimed as one of the top ten most beautiful castles in Europe, and once served as a royal summer residence. After the tour, proceed to the medieval town of Brasov. Upon arrival, start a walking tour in Brasov. We will walk in the old town seeing the council square, the pedestrian street, rope street and Ecaterina’s tower. Stay: Brasov |

Day 3: Brasov - Sibiu (B) Drive around one hour to Bran Castle, famous because of Dracula novel – you will learn what is truth and what is legend about this 650 years old castle. After lunch, heading to Sibiu, this charming medieval town developed by Saxons settlers, with remains of citadel walls, multiple squares surrounded by heritage buildings and grand churches. Day 4: Transfagarasan Road and cable car to the Carpathian Mountains (B) After breakfast, we going for a day trip to Transfagarasan Road. Often referred to as one of the most scenic drives in the world, the Transfagarasan offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The road winds through picturesque valleys, crosses alpine meadows, and provides panoramic vistas of the Fagaras Mountains. The road also renowned for its challenging and numerous hairpin turns, adding an element of excitement for driving enthusiasts. We will take a cable car to reach the top of the mountains. After the tour, return to Sibiu and free & easy. The old town is full of shops and cafes, where one could enjoy souvenir hunting or simply laid back, sip coffee, and watch the world go by. Day 5: Sibiu - Sighisoara (B,L) After breakfast visit to Biertan Fortified Church, a must-see attraction while in Transylvania, the fortified church of Biertan is part of the UNESCO Heritage Sites and is one of the strongest of these unique fortifications. We will arrange for a delicious and hearty home-cooked lunch to be enjoyed in a local village. Afternoon drive to Sighisoara, the most beautiful citadel in Romania and the only inhabited citadel in Europe. Here, you will enjoy this fairy tale place and wander in its narrow streets. Day 6: Sighisoara – Rimetea (B) After breakfast, we’ll drive to Turda Salt Mine, Romania’s most stunning underground wonder - Salina Turda. With over 2,000 years of history, remarkably preserved galleries, and a futuristic underground attraction. Next, we’ll head to Rimetea Village for a village walk and stay. Rimetea is a picturesque village and commune in Alba County, Transylvania, Romania, nestled at the foot of the stunning Piatra Secuiului (“Rock of the Szeklers”) in the Apuseni Mountains. Day 7: Rimetea – Maramures (B,D) "Turda Gorge" known locally as Cheile Turzii is one of Transylvania's most spectacular karst canyons. Carved from Jurassic limestone over millions of years by the Hășdate River, the gorge stretches about 2.9 km long with towering cliffs up to 300 m high. We will have an easy walk around the gorge around two hours. Next, visit to Surdesti Wooden Church, one of the eight UNESCO-listed Wooden Churches of Maramureș. In the evening, arrive at Breb Village and savor a traditional meal for dinner. Stay: Breb Village |

Day 8: Maramures (B,D) Romania is one of the very few places left in Europe where you can still experience the bygone era of steam engine locomotives. Enjoy a morning ride on Europe’s last forestry steam train, Mocanita. The 5-hour round-trip will take you on an incredibly picturesque journey along the lush, green Vaser Valley and into the high Carpathian Mountains. It’s an experience that you won’t soon forget. After the train ride, visit Barsana Monastery, the largest monastery in Maramures, boasting beautiful local architecture. Back in our village, dinner is included. Stay: Breb Village |

Day 9: Maramures (B,L,D) Maramureș is renowned for its unique wooden architecture, including UNESCO-listed churches, massive wooden gates, traditional houses, and impressive installations - all showcasing the region's exceptional craftsmanship with wood. After breakfast, we’ll visit a local craftsman who specializes in creating traditional wooden gates, a significant tradition in Maramureș. Later, we’ll meet the village photographer, who has been documenting local events since the 1970s. We’ll also participate in a cooking class, followed by lunch. Day 10: Maramures - Cluj Napoca - Istanbul (B) Bid farewell to your homestay host and visit a local family that processes wool using traditional machinery powered by water. Drive to Cluj for lunch, followed by a transfer to the airport. |

第八天:马拉穆列什(早,晚) 罗马尼亚是欧洲为数不多的仍然可以体验蒸汽火车的地方之一。早上乘坐欧洲最后的林业蒸汽火车Mocanita。五个小时的火车旅程将带您慢游绿意盈盈的瓦瑟谷地和喀尔巴阡山岭,沿途有停靠时间供游客拍照留念。行程结束后,参观巴尔萨纳修道院,这是马拉穆列什最大的修道院,拥有美丽的本地建筑。傍晚返回民宿,享用家常晚餐。 住宿:布雷布村 |
